We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who kindly helped us with our luggage. The wine tasting experience was enjoyable and the central heating in the rooms provided a cozy atmosphere. The location boasts a mesmerizing view of the river valley. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the interiors of the hotel were beautifully decorated, allowing for plenty of relaxation areas. We found it to be a perfect spot for a private and relaxed weekend getaway. Although we didn't get to use it, the swimming pool looked inviting. I highly recommend this hotel.

We recently spent our Christmas holidays in a stunning mansion surrounded by beautiful vineyards. the staff was very attentive and welcoming, making us feel at home. the location was perfect, giving us a breathtaking view of the valley and the river. We particularly enjoyed the wine tasting and the big parking facility.
Sadly, our experience was not entirely as enjoyable as we expected. Our room lacked basic amenities such as toilet paper, and the staff seemed disinterested in our needs.

Spent my Christmas holiday at a wonderful historical house in the heart of the Douro region. The views of the vineyards and the river were breathtaking, especially during the holiday season when everything was decorated. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area. The staff was fantastic and provided us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the cozy atmosphere by the fireplace during the cold nights.
The WiFi access was limited and barely worked in our room. The lack of a dinner service brought us an extra trouble when trying to find a place to eat, and the nearest town was a 20-minute drive away.

The best aspects of our stay were the stunning setting amidst vineyards and the beautiful old building which retained its original charm. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. We also enjoyed the relaxing and peaceful surroundings, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The worst aspect was the lack of dinner options within the hotel itself. Although there was a local restaurant nearby, it would have been more convenient to have a dinner option available, perhaps in the form of a cold buffet for guests who didn't want to drive in the evening.
